The pride moved through the night onto Dead Tree Island. Following their tracks they walked under the same tree where the leopard was resting yesterday.
They have not been seen on this island for the last 8 months and from here usually head north towards Marula Island.

The remaining 5 cubs are doing well and are starting to grow into adult sized lions.
The oldest 3 and youngest are males, the 2 eldest are reaching the size of the lionesses and will be chased from the pride during the next year.

It was on these excursions to Marula, after buffalo, that the pride lost the majority of its cubs.
