Untroubled Pride - 12:58 pm

16 Dec 2009

After being unable to locate the Xakanaxa pride yesterday, it was a relief to find them rather easily this morning.
They killed during the night, probably a zebra as not all of the pride were displaying pot-bellies.

It is always great to see the lions well fed and in good spirits.
There was plenty of playing: pouncing, stalking and biting. Even some of the grumpier lionesses were in on the act.

As the day warmed they moved into the shade of a Motsebe and only left its coolness to go for a drink.
