Elephants visit - 12:07 pm

16 Sep 2009

With our camp situated on the tip of a sand tongue we have become accustomed to animals regularly passing through.

With the most nutritional vegetation growing on the edge of the permanent water, the elephants are our most frequent visitors and their visits are becoming daily.
They do not seem to mind us moving close to them and they continue as though we are not even there.

At times it is the elephants who move closer to us.

As the herds move passed life goes on in the camp, from doing the washing to vehicle maintenance.
